Empowering and inspiring young minds through planetary health
The Schools Outreach programs engage with local schools to inspire and educate students about the importance of social and ecological design, grounded in planetary health principles.
Facilitated and led by Uncle David King (Gully Traditional Owner), these programs emphasise the profound connection between Indigenous people and their lands and waters, illustrating the principles and practices of planetary health and Caring for Country that have been inherent to Traditional Custodians for millennia. For Indigenous people, land, culture, and health are inextricably entwined. Their practices, relationship with Ngurra (Country), and deeply embedded cultural knowledge provide essential guideposts for greater understanding, caring for, and preserving our natural environments.

Through interactive workshops, collaborative projects, and educational events, we aim to foster creativity and awareness in young minds, empowering them to become future leaders in sustainable and responsible design.
Join our mission to cultivate a passion for design and innovation that supports the health of our planet and all its inhabitants. By learning from the wisdom of Traditional Custodians, we can collectively be part of a transformative journey that embraces Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Care for Country.
Initiatives such as the Painted River Project: Garguree (The Gully), a case study on Gundungurra and Dharug Country in the Blue Mountains, showcase how we can blend art, science, and community engagement to create lasting impact.
